The BRISK 3VR one piece shell design (no more issues with plugs breaking off in the heads) for the 05-07 Ford Mustang & Ford Truck (4.6l & 5.4l, 3V) allows for easy setting of the spark plug gap, without requiring a specialized spark plug gapping tool, as well as unshrouding the spark plug flame allowing for better flame front dispersion thus improving power.
Ford changed the cylinder head design in early 2008, which in turn changed the plug design. Check the part # on the top of the coils. Coil #8L3E is the later design, which uses brisk #'s GR14S for blown applications.
