Gives added strength to the trunk floor. Braces trunk floor to taillight panel. Most years are sold individually, while the 69-70 Braces are sold as a PAIR with the Passenger side having a vertical tire shield. Ford went without the vertical tire shield on most 70 models, so you have to remove it from the set to be concours correct.
