Yes Radial Tires in 1969!
In 1969, Ford started to offer Firestone Wide Oval Radial tires as an option on any Mustang or Cougar equipped with a V8 engine. The size offered was the FR70-14 which has a 26.4" diameter and filled the wheel well perfectly on all 1965-1973 Mustangs.
These Coker Tire reproductions are an exact duplicate of those tires offered from 1969-1973. Enjoy the perfect vintage look with the driving experience and safety of a radial tire. The FR70-14 tires are recommended for 6" to 7" wide 14" rims, while the FR60-15 tires are recommended for 7" to 8" wide 15" rims.
These MUST be ordered in sets of 4 or more, as the shipping from Coker on a single (for a spare) would increase the price dramatically.
