This kit contains everything you need to replace your factory 16 gallon tank with a 22 gallon version. This 37.5% increase in capacity gives you that much increased range. The top of the tank is just a little higher so you can't even tell you made the swap once its in. Original 67 Mustangs (not 68s) have a 5/16" fuel line and the spout coming out of the original sending units is also 5/16". The output spout on the sending unit for a 22 gallon tank only comes in 3/8" diameter so you will have to stretch your rubber fuel hose a bit (only 1/16") to fit onto the new sending unit. Its a bit of a pain in the butt.... can can easily be done. If you've upgraded your fuel lines to 3/8", then you won't have this fun little challenge.
