This side marker reflector mounts on the rear of the quarter panel on 1968 Mustangs. There are 2 versions of these; the early 1968 cars had a square reflector that sat in a square pocket stamped into the actual quarter panel with a retaining bezel that was painted the same color as the car (except Shelbys...they were chrome). These are called "insies" as the whole assembly ended up flush with the quarter panel. On later cars, Ford stopped indenting the square pockets in the quarter panels and the reflector became a simpler red lens surrounded by a chrome bezel (like the one in the image). These are called "outsies" as they stick out from the quarter panel body line. This one sold here is the later "outsie" type. Sold individually.
