Brand New Spindles designed to use the larger and stronger bearings and tie rods that were first used on the Boss 302 for Trans Am Racing. Constructed from FORGED ASTM 5140 grade steel that has been heat treated and hardened. These spindles will fit all 1965-1970 Mustangs and Cougars, as the ball joints are all the same size. Please note: these Spindles, however, use larger outer tie rods, so your original outer tie rods will not fit! You must use D1ZZ3A130AR Tie Rods for all applications except 1965-66 Power Steering Cars must use the C5ZZ3A130SPEC outer tie rod on the Left (driver) side. IMPORTANT: Aftermarket Disc Brake Kits designed for 1965-69 Mustangs and Cougars that had Drum Brakes will not work with these spindles, as those kits are designed to be used with 65-69 Drum Spindles that are different than these 70 style ones. Scott Drake makes a Big Bearing Performance Disc Brake Kit (part number DBC-A120-BB-DS) designed just for these Big Bearing Spindles in 1965-1969 Mustangs.
