Replace your worn out distributor with this re-manufactured original Ford Single Point unit. Ford used the same basic distributor on all 360-390-427-428 engines and this "one type fits all" reman unit will work perfectly on all of them. The difference in specific applications back in the day had to do with different vacuum advance units, or the counterbalance springs on the inside. These reman units use a standard "middle of the road" set of springs so will work fine on any FE engine. To get the most out of you engine, you should have you distributor Re-Curved at a speed shop and will install the optimum springs for your specific application.
