Genuine Ford "Ford" type Power Steering pump for your 1965-1966 Mustang without Air Conditioning. This is not a new unit, it is an original Ford that has been rebuilt with all new internal components. It looks and works just like the original because it IS an original. Due to production shortages at the time, 1965/66 Mustangs came with 2 completely different power steering pump systems and they are NOT interchangeable as the attaching brackets are totally different. There is no real time/factory pattern that can tell you which one you have, just take a look and see if it looks just like the one in the picture! This pump is known as the "Ford" pump, while the other one is called the "Eaton" pump. For cars equipped with factory Air Conditioning, Ford used a different pump that had the filler tube slanted back so it did not run into the compressor.
Please note that we bring these in from a US supplier that does NOT offer any warranty as they test each pump before it ships out and claim they work perfectly. They figure that any failure suffered was caused by the user mis-pressing on the pulley, by running the pump at too high an RPM or by starving the pump of fluid. These are therefore a NON RETURNABLE ITEM.
