This is a brand new booster that is copied after the Midland-Ross booster used in the 67-69 Mustangs and Cougars. Ford used both this one and another type, the Bendix, randomly throughout those years. The nice thing is that this unit is shorter than the Bendix and allows you to fit the master cylinder in without running into your shock tower. All Shelbys used this version and about 50% of the Mustangs, so you can switch to it even if yours originally came with a Bendix.
