This Flasher is designed for use when replacing original style incandescent light bulbs with lower voltage LED bulbs. Sometimes you don't need these, but if your LED bulbs are acting strangely then you need one of these to regulate the system. This version looks like your original, fits in the same place as your original... BUT has a ground wire sticking out of it that you must screw into any good ground point.
