This system is Vortech's Entry Level supercharger kit for your 1986-1993 Fox Body 5.0L Mustang. It comes with everything you need to supercharge your stock 5.0L and gain 75+ Horse Power. This system is designed to work with your stock 19lb Fuel Injectors and deliver a 5-6 psi boost. Vortech has several centrifugal supercharger designs to pick from, and this particular kit comes with the V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger. The V-3 is their most popular as it has a self-contained lubrication system. The V-3 comes with an attached oil drain extension so the unit does not have to be removed for servicing. The supercharger uses the quieter helical cut gears (3.61:1 ratio) and is capable of up to 775HP on modified vehicles if you want to upgrade your system later. Extraordinary 78% peak efficiency. Ideal for latest generation of improved breathing, high-power street and strip engines. As a complete kit, this system DOES come with the12:1 Fuel management system.
The nice thing about Vortech is you can modify the kit later to add more power if you wish. Simple upgrades include higher boost via a different fuel management system, aluminum tubing and MSD ignition box upgrades.
