Concours correct Group 27 Battery Tray for your 1969-1970 Mustang/Cougar/Shelby with a 428 Cobra Jet engine. Most Mustangs, including the 390 GT Big Block cars, used a smaller Group 24 Battery and Tray but Ford went to a larger group 27 Battery for the 428-4V Cobra Jet equipped cars ONLY. Even the Boss 429 used a different battery. Finding a good used proper Group 27 Tray for your Q or R code Mustang used to be near impossible.... but we can now get them! Made in the USA.
