This kit contains the 4 pieces of underlay that go under the carpet of your Coupe or Fastback Mustang. The material is concours correct for 1969-1973 Mustangs and Cougars, and will also work perfectly for 1965-1968 cars... although the material is different than what was used in those years. Pre-1969, Ford used a more simple tar paper for their Underlay applications. In 1969, Ford switched to this jute material bonded to tar paper which provides better sound deadening. Once installed under the carpet, these 4 pieces are never seen.
