1968 Shelbys have a longer nose section that require the front bumper to move forward by a few inches. Ford took regular Mustang bumper brackets and had the A.O. Smith company weld extensions onto them in order to install a regular 67/68 Mustang bumper onto a 68 Shelby. If you ever look at a real 68 Shelby's bumper brackets, the bracket extension welds look pretty crappy as this is a part that is not easily seen so they didn't care. We carry very faithful reproductions of these elongated brackets... crappy welding and all!
