Track Heat Cylinder Heads for Small Block Ford Our Track Heat heads are ideal for the entry level bracket racer who needs more than our standard Twisted Wedge Street head, but doesn't need to step up to the R-Series heads.
The Track Heat heads feature higher rate valve springs (125 lbs. seat pressure at 1.780 in. installed height), 10 degree super locks, and manganese bronze guides. The heads can handle cams up to .600 in. lift when used with Trick Flow forged race pistons. The Track Heat heads have all of these power-building features too: 61cc combustion chambers with rotated intake and exhaust valves moved over the center of the cylinder bores, 2.02 in. intake/1.60 in. stainless steel exhaust valves help build top end power without sacrificing bottom end torque, designed for use with stud-mount rocker arms, .56 in. thick combustion chamber walls and fire deck for strength without compromising cooling capacity, additional support risers that are strategically located in the water jacket for additional rigidity and head gasket integrity, stock height intake and exhaust ports that allow the use of most OEM and aftermarket intake and exhaust manifolds, and the availability of a machined version for use with Fel-Pro Loc-Wire head gaskets.
Track Heat heads come fully assembled with stainless steel valves (intakes are backcut for improved flow), valve springs, locks, retainers, 7/16 in. studs, and guide plates. They are also available as bare castings
