1971-1973 Convertible Top with One Piece Glass Window. 1967-1970 Mustang back windows were made of 2 pieces that were bonded with a silicone strip, called a 2-piece window. In 1971-1973, Ford switched to a 1 piece design like this one. Glass rear windows greatly enhance rear visibility. They are not prone to scratching, cracking or yellowing due to exposure to the sun. In the early 1970s, Ford used a "Single Texture vinyl" on all their convertible tops. In fact, Ford used a company called Robbins to supply their Top Material back then and that company is still making the exact same top material today! If you get the OEM/Stock PREMIUM material it is exactly like the original and made by the original supplier. We also carry the much less expensive EZ-TOP OEM/Stock material which looks just like the Robins tops, but is a slightly thinner gauge material.
