Brand new Oil Pan for your small block Ford 260,289 or 302. The economy Oil Pans are a enlarged 6 quart design that will fit perfectly on all 1965-1973 engines and help keep the engine a little cooler and extend your oil life. HOWEVER, on 1965 Mustangs with power steering this deeper pan will rub the power steering center link. This can be corrected by either running the taller and stronger 1966 engine mounts or by simply adding a ¼” shim of washers to 1965 motor mounts to lift engine up.
The "Concours" Oil Pan is an exact reproduction of the original 5 quart oil pans used on Mustangs and Cougars from 1965 to 1969. Not only is the "Concours" version correct in appearance, but it will not interfere with power steering systems and some factory exhaust systems as the economy aftermarket 6-quart replacement version can..
