Accurate reproductions of the "Low Back" seat foam that came originally with your 68/69 Mustang. Both Right and Left front seats actually use the same foam, so this kit is used on either side. Includes one bottom cushion and one backrest cushion. These are for use on the Low Back seats in 1968 and 1969 but are NOT correct for the 1969 High Back/Mach 1 seats.These were used on all 1968 Mustangs, both Standard and Deluxe, Mustang or Shelby, and have the "tube provisions" in the foam for installing the very rare factory headrests. In 1969, these are correct for Standard Interior which is basically the same seat as the 1968... but with a different headrest design. This foam will also work on 1969 Deluxe/Luxury/Grande interior seats BUT NEED TO BE SLIGHTLY MODIFIED on those as the vinyl pattern needs a few extra grooves cut out of them in order to work correctly. (easy to do).
We sell 2 versions of this kit: One contains 3 pieces (the lower cushion, the upper cushion and the rear-facing top "Crash Pad") and new listing wires, while the other kit contains only 2 pieces (the lower and upper cushions). Neither kit includes the foam for the headrests, just the seats. Each kit does 1 seat, 2 required per car.
