Shipping Policy

The Mustang Shop has teamed up with multiple carriers to offer competitive shipping options to anywhere in Canada.

Please carefully review this shipping policy when purchasing our products.

This policy will apply to any order you place with us.

In store Pick-Up:

In-store pick-up is available for all purchases, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Please advise your salesperson, or leave a comment on your online order, when you or a proxy will be picking up so we can arrange to have your order ready.

Small Package Shipping:

Very small items (up to 1” thickness, less than 500g) Up to 7 business days.

Orders will be sent Canada Post by letter mail. We charge $5.00 plus applicable taxes for this service. This option has no tracking and no insurance, as such the sender assumes no responsibility for loss or damage.

If you would rather use a tracked and insured courier service, please advise us when you place your order.

Small package items (over 1” thickness, greater than 500g) 1-7 business days by ground.

Orders will be sent by courier at standard ground rate calculated by the carrier, including insurance plus any additional material/handling charges. If you would rather use a faster express service, please advise us when you place your order.

PO Box shipping will be sent by Canda Post only; couriers will not deliver to POs.

Multi-piece orders will be sent by courier to save cost to you as Canada Post requires we make a separate manifest for each piece making it expensive. A street address must be provided for multiple piece orders.

Shipping Quotes, Fees & Delivery Times:

Quotes can be obtained by calling our sales department toll free: 1-888-707-0774 or by emailing shipping@themustangshop.ca. Please include mailing address including postal code along with part number or accurate description of the part you would like shipped.

All dates, times and cost quotes given for delivery of products are made in good faith and are estimates only. Shipping prices are quoted on a per order basis and are based on information available at the time of quotation. Any substantive changes to your order will require a requote and price modification. Shipping quotes are valid for 30 days.

We will always ship by the most cost-effective method; however, this may not be the most time effective method. If you would like your parts as soon as possible, please advise your salesperson or leave a comment on your online order as such and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you have a preferred carrier, please let us know when placing your order. If you would like to use your own account number with a carrier, please note there may be additional charges for insurance and our materials.

LTL Truck Freight Shipping:

Oversized items (i.e. fenders, hoods, complete floor pans, quarter panels, etc.) will ship via truck freight using the most cost-effective carrier to your specific location.

When an order is filled and shipped, you will be notified by EMAIL ONLY with the tracking number and instructions for accepting delivery.

All LTL orders will require a valid street address to ship to. If no street address is available, the order will be held at the nearest pick-up depot.

Any additional costs associated with daily storage of orders held by carriers will be the customer’s responsibility.

When shipping truck freight items, it is generally less expensive to ship to a commercial/business address. This must be a business only address - residential businesses will still have residential rates. Rural properties generally fall into residential rate scales.

Due to the various sizes, shapes, weights, and insurable costs of items as well as the great variability in shipping rates within Canada we cannot pre-quote these automatically online.

We try to quote as accurately as possible.

If the shipping is less than quoted, we will charge you the reduced amount. If a shipment is more than quoted due to circumstances outside our control, we will contact you with a revision.

Any costs associated with additional services requested by the customer at delivery without prior knowledge of The Mustang Shop (i.e. threshold delivery, tailgate service, storage) will be the financial responsibility of the customer. Any of these services as required will be charged before the order ships.

We do not ship LTL freight internationally under any circumstance.

Shipping Restrictions:

-Due to previous issues with quality, The Mustang Shop will not ship paint or other freezable items from November to May (weather dependent). We apologize for the inconvenience.

-Aerosols, batteries, shocks or any items containing batteries or compressed gas will not be shipped by air. Please confirm when placing your order if you have any concerns.
